Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 September 2026
These terms govern your purchase and use of IndieKit, a one-time purchase sold by ERX Connect ("we", "us"). By buying it you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't buy.
01What you get
IndieKit is a one-time purchase that grants lifetime access to a private GitHub repository containing agents, skills, slash commands and a command-line installer for Claude Code. On payment you are added to that repository as a read-only collaborator and remain one indefinitely. You install the files into your own projects using the provided npx command.
IndieKit does not include Claude Code, a Claude plan, or API credits. Those are sold by Anthropic under Anthropic's terms.
02Payment and access
- IndieKit is a single payment. There is no subscription, no renewal and no recurring charge of any kind.
- Founding seats are sold in tiers that rise as seats fill: $5 for the first 50 buyers, $9 for seats 51 to 100, $19 for seats 101 to 150, and $29 for seats 151 to 200. After the founding seats are gone, the standard price applies. Whatever you pay at checkout is the only payment you make.
- Access to the private repository is for life. We do not remove paying customers from the repository, and every future update to IndieKit is included at no extra cost.
- Files you install into your own projects remain on your machine permanently and keep working regardless of anything that happens to this product or this website.
- All payments are final and non-refundable. Access to the private repository is granted immediately on purchase, so the product is considered delivered at that moment. See the Refund Policy.
- Payments are processed by Polar, which acts as merchant of record. Polar's terms apply to the payment itself.
- If we ever discontinue IndieKit, you keep the files you have and any repository access we are able to maintain. We will give reasonable notice where we can.
03Licence
IndieKit is licensed, not sold. On payment we grant you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:
- install and use the files in your own projects, commercial or personal, without limit on the number of projects;
- modify the files for your own use;
- ship apps and services built with the help of the files, and keep all rights to what you build.
You may not:
- redistribute, resell, sublicense or publicly share the files or any substantial part of them;
- republish the files to a public repository, package registry, or any place where people who have not bought it can obtain them;
- share your repository access, invite others to the repository, or use one purchase for a team (each person needs their own copy);
- remove or alter copyright or licence notices.
All intellectual property in IndieKit remains with ERX Connect. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.
04Acceptable use
IndieKit provides configuration and guidance for an AI coding assistant. The output of that assistant is generated code and text. You must review, test and take responsibility for all generated code before shipping it. Do not use IndieKit to build anything unlawful, or to violate the terms of Anthropic, Apple, Google, GitHub or Cloudflare.
05Third parties
IndieKit is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, Apple, Google, GitHub or Cloudflare. Your use of Claude Code, GitHub, the App Store, Google Play and Cloudflare is governed by those companies' own terms, which you are responsible for following. We are not responsible for changes those companies make that affect how IndieKit works.
06No warranty
IndieKit is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the files are error-free, that any app built with them will pass App Review, or that the product will meet your requirements.
07Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ERX Connect's total liability to you for any claim arising from IndieKit is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we were told they were possible.
08Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use IndieKit after a change means you accept the new terms. Material changes to pricing never apply to a period you have already paid for.
